Claudia Mariel is Associate Attorney at Troncoso and Cáceres. She specializes in Intellectual Property, collaborating with several multinational companies for the protection of their IP portfolios in the the Dominican Republic. Likewise, she is dedicated to the processes of Sanitary Registrations and Trademark Protection at Customs.
After obtaining her Law Degree, she joined Troncoso and Cáceres in 2006, as a lawyer for the Intellectual Property Department, to work with everything related to the protection and defense of trademarks and designs, including all types of administrative litigation. In 2013, she specialized in "Intellectual Property, Industrial and New Technologies", after completing the VII Edition of the Master's Degree title which is so given by the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) in Spain.
In said country she attended several Certified Courses related to the area of Law and to the III International Congress on Intellectual Property, held in Madrid, Spain, by the Queen Mary University of London (QMU) in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), which was attended by important figures at the international level.
On her return to the country, she work as an independent professional managing Trademark portfolios, Corporate Law, and some matters related to Family Law, Civil Law, Civil Status, Succession Rights and Real Estate Law.
At present, she joins the group of young professionals of Troncoso and Cáceres as an attorney specializing in Intellectual Property whom share their passion for Intellectual and Industrial Property.
