Mar&1acute;a de los Ángeles is part of the Intellectual Property Department of Troncoso and Cáceres as Junior Associate Attorney, specializing in the procedures and maintenance of Patents, Industrial Designs and Utility Models. Prior to joining Troncoso and Cáceres, she served as Assistant Secretary in the Supreme Court's Council. However, her interest in the protection of Industrial Property led her to specialized studies in this area, in the Master's Degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies, in the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). In this practice she advises several multinational companies, as well as law firms, for the protection of inventions, industrial designs and utility models in the territory of the Dominican Republic.
