Story

The founder of our firm was the Dominican lawyer and politician Manuel de Jesus Troncoso de la Concha . Known for his active presence in intellectual circles, he founded this law firm on March 2, 1915, under the name Oficina Troncoso.

In addition to his professional practice, he dedicated a large part of his life to the exercise of public service from the three powers of the State, as well as in the municipal establishment.

After his death, his work was continued by his children, Jesus Maria , Pedro and Wenceslao Troncoso , as well as for his son-in-law, Marino Cáceres Ureña . They were the first generation to perpetuate their legacy of excellence and integrity in the practice of law.

After changing its name to TRONCOSO AND CACERES in 1983, the firm continued its leadership under the direction of his grandchildren Manuel A. Troncoso , Ramón Cáceres Troncoso and Marcos D. Troncoso , who made up the second generation. Currently, his great-grandchildren, Jesús María Troncoso Ferrúa and Ana Isabel Cáceres Matos  lead the firm, with a group of prominent partner and associate lawyers of different specialties and skills.
